Hi there! My name is Danielle Rose and I am an aspiring equine professional. My journey began in 2010 at horse camp where I quickly realized that the barn was where I belonged. What started with weekly lessons soon turned into working for my coach for as many lessons and practice rides on as many horses as I possibly could. As soon as I was old enough to have a job, I started doing chores at my lesson barn, became an official working student for my coach and my passion has only grown since. I practically live at the barn and I love every second of it.
In 2015, the decision was made that I would need my own horse to continue working towards my goals, and I became the proud owner of a 2011 Irish Thoroughbred gelding named O'Malley (a.k.a Kiss Me I'm Irish). Together we have faced many obstacles, overcome many challenges, and he has taught me more than I could have ever hoped for.
Fast forward to now and O'Malley and I are currently schooling third level with our sights set on making it to Grand Prix. I am headed into my fourth year of the Equine Management program at the University of Guelph, I am the owner of Dani’s Grooming and Exercising Services, and I am in the process of becoming a certified competition coach through Equine Canada. I have so many exciting goals for my career but above all, I want to educate and inspire my fellow equestrians to make a positive impact in our amazing industry.
